Hi Ron,
I chanced upon your site while googling Fairweather just as you chanced upon his ‘Family Group’ yesterday. But the really interesting thing for me is the juxtaposition of his painting with the earlier Sid Nolan image – painted, I think, before Fairweather solidified his calligraphic style. I knew Nolan was an influence but hadn’t previously seen the connection so clearly. Thanks for the insight.
Oh, and I really like your House carving, below. Nice work – and an interesting blog
